Project Description
- South Central Regional Wastewater Board was created in 1974 as a Special District to treat the wastewater in the Boynton Beach and Delray Beach service areas. The plant is permitted to treat an average daily flow of 24 million gallons of wastewater a day.
Project Scope
- Furnish and installation of four (4) horizontal non-clog centrifugal pumps, check valves, and gate valves at the Plant-A RAS Pump Station; installation of a stainless steel sludge hopper and sludge cake screw conveyor at the Solids Handling Building; odor control improvements and rehabilitation of the Headworks Building; and re-roofing of the Blower Building and Effluent Pump Stations 1 and 2; including all miscellaneous mechanical, structural, architectural, instrumentation, electrical work and HVAC completed, tested and ready for operation.
