Project Description
- Construction of two raw water UV disinfection systems for existing aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) wells located at the West and Southwest Well Fields. The systems have an average design flow of 20 MGD and 15 MGD, respectively; allowing injection of water into the Upper Floridian Aquifer while ensuring primary drinking water standards at all times prior to injection.
Project Scope
- The project includes the construction of two concrete UV buildings located at the West and Southwest Well Fields. Each building houses a raw water UV disinfection system with 36” influent and effluent lines connecting to existing 42” lines. The project also entails procurement and installation of the electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, including electromagnetic flow meters, power and control equipment, and pad-mounted transformers.
